An active adult community differs from a retirement home which is a single building or small complex where no "common areas" for socializing exist. Plus, above and beyond what Four Seasons provides, the Versante HOA covers insurance on roof, exterior paint, water, and sewer. Diamond Glen 55+ Active Adult gated community is a retirement community hidden away in Folsom, CA and not as well known as the other 55 and over gated communities.
